Costa Careyes stretches along the Mexican Riviera in Jalisco, Mexico. IPC’s project in the region is encompassed by a 3000 acre property sited on the Bahia de Chamela, a long bay sheltered by twelve small uninhabited islands. The Chamela-Cuixmala Biosphere, a 130 square-km nature reserve, borders the project to the east.
IPC is developing the landscape masterplan and landscape design for a 52 room resort, currently under construction.
All trees and plants incorporated into the resort landscape, guest pavilions and villas, will either be supplied by onsite nurseries we have developed steadily over the past five years from locally collected native seed, or transplanted from construction footprints onsite. We are working in conjunction with the Client and builder to salvage thousands of native trees representing dozens of species from throughout the property to be reintegrated into the resort landscape.
