Woodson Park is a public park owned by the City of Miami. Due to location it is considered to be the future landmark gateway to the Miami Design District.
IPC’s landscape design intent for the project was to create a sculptural, aesthetically pleasing mini-park featuring specimen trees, cycads and large oolitic boulders vegetated with epiphytes. To the Client’s request, the park is meant to be enjoyed from the outside, but not considered as a destination. IPC’s plant selection, placement and configuration of stones help in achieving this goal.
Woodson park has been designed but not yet installed.
